Caring for your pearl
Your pearl is precious and delicate. To preserve its beauty, we recommend a few simple steps to care for it:
- Avoid contact with chemicals (detergent, perfume, soap, moisturizer, etc.) that could alter its luster. When not wearing it, store it in its case to protect it, keeping in mind that pearls like the natural humidity in the air, which prevents them from drying out.
- It is best not to wear your pearl during intense physical activity. Sweat, which is rich in acidity, as well as any shocks, can weaken its mother-of-pearl over time.
- To properly care for your jewelry and extend its life, it is advisable to remove your pearl before sleeping, showering, or exercising, in order to preserve its luminous shine.

A simple gesture
If, over time, you feel that your pearl is losing its shine, gently wipe it with a soft cloth and a small drop of sweet almond oil.

Caring for your silver jewelry
Silver is a living, delicate precious metal that can react to its environment. Over time and depending on your lifestyle, it may tarnish slightly, develop a patina, or change appearance. Don't worry: this is a natural and reversible phenomenon.
- Silver reacts to sulfur present in certain environments (e.g., seaweed baths, hot springs, spas, cosmetics).
- Some household products, such as pure bleach, can also cause chemical reactions on surfaces.
- Sweat, perfume, creams, and even chlorinated water can accelerate this phenomenon.
- Remove your jewelry before swimming (spa, pool, sea), participating in sports activities, or using household products.
- Store your jewelry away from moisture.
- Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, or chemicals.
- Use a special silver polishing cloth (available at the workshop): it will restore shine and luster simply by rubbing, without adding any product or water.
- For a deep clean, a jeweler can perform professional polishing that will restore your jewelry to its original appearance.
Silver is a malleable metal that can, over time, slightly adapt to the shape of your finger. This is not a defect, but a characteristic of this metal. A jeweler can easily restore your jewelry to its original condition if necessary.
